Heavy-handed, oversaturated color rendering. Makes D800 look muted, in comparison.

Hard to argue about. They are clearly strong saturated. Calling it over saturated is often a mater of taste and mood. The saturation is clearly not a function of the camera (neither D800 or K-30) but the processing.
