When and How to reset your Photoshop Preferences (updated)

Now more of our customers move to Photoshop CS6. Some encounter the folowing kind of issues:

Update for users of CS6 with German language UI. Note from a German user:

Das Script funktioniert nur, wenn ich unter Benutzeroberflaeche/Interface "Open Documents as Tabs" "Dokumente als Registerkarten oeffnen" aktiv ist. Sobald ich dies deaktiviere (meine Standard-Einstellung) kommt die Fehlermeldung beim Script.

We try to check it out. It worked with CS5 so we really think more of a bug in CS6 with German UI. Best you enable the tabs for now.
